Work is ongoing on a feature length documentary on the Mott the Hoople. We started filming early in 2008, interviewing Verden Allen, Dale “Buffin” Griffin, and MTH’s erstwhile road manager Stan Tippins.
We interviewed Ian Hunter while on a UK tour in February 2008, and have since interviewed Mick Ralphs, Morgan Fisher, Arial Bender,
Leee Black Childers, Mick Bolton, The Clash’s Mick Jones, Mott roadies Richie Anderson & Phil, and Sea-Divers / Mott fan club president Kris Needs.
We’re aiming to have the film finished and released later this year. Keep checking back for further news.
